Hajj 2026 Registration Saudi Arabia: Eligibility, Priority Rules & Booking Dates

Hajj 2026 Registration Begins for Citizens and Residents in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has officially opened the registration process for Hajj 1447 AH (2026) for people living inside the Kingdom. Beginning February 24, 2026, citizens and legal residents who want to make the trip can now start applying via the official Nusuk website.

For domestic pilgrims getting ready for the Hajj next year, this declaration is the first official step.Officials have stated that all steps of the process, from registration to payment, will be done online to ensure transparency, efficiency, and equal opportunity.

Registration Now Open, Packages Later

At this stage, applicants can register and confirm their eligibility through the Nusuk app or its official website. However, the selection and booking of Hajj packages will begin on 15 Ramadan 1447 AH. Only those who successfully complete the eligibility process will be able to proceed to choose from available packages once booking opens.

Officials have emphasized that Nusuk is the only approved channel for Hajj registration and package reservations. All transactions must be completed within the platform to ensure the issuance of a valid Hajj permit.

Preference for First-Time Pilgrims

As in previous years, priority will be given to individuals who have not performed Hajj before. The Ministry aims to provide first-time pilgrims with a fair opportunity to fulfill this important religious duty.

This priority arrangement will continue until the end of Shawwal. If additional slots remain after accommodating first-time applicants, the booking system will then allow other eligible individuals to reserve their packages.

Who Can Apply?

To qualify for Hajj 2026, applicants must meet specific criteria set by the Ministry:

Minimum Age:

Applicants must be at least 15 years old according to the Gregorian calendar.

Health Requirements:

Pilgrims must comply with the approved health regulations announced for the Hajj season.

Valid Residency (for Residents):

Non-Saudi residents must hold a valid Iqama. Priority among residents will be given to those whose residence permits were issued more than one year ago.

Meeting these conditions is essential for eligibility approval through the Nusuk system.

How to Finish the Application

The process has been simplified into a few digital steps:

Create a Nusuk Account: Applicants must sign up through the official app or website.

Submit Personal Details: All required information must be entered accurately for verification.

Verify Eligibility Status: The system will verify if the candidate satisfies the requirements.

Select a Package (from 15 Ramadan): Once booking opens, eligible individuals can choose from packages offered by licensed companies listed in the app.

Pay with Sadad: The Sadad system is the sole method available for fee payment. The official Hajj permit will be issued electronically following payment confirmation.

Authorities have warned against dealing with unapproved agents or unauthorised promotions and stressed that only licensed service providers registered on Nusuk application are approved.

Streamlined Digital System

Saudi authorities hope to clear up any uncertainty and guarantee pilgrims a seamless experience by centralising the registration and booking process. The digital method keeps the selection and payment processes transparent while enabling applicants to effectively manage their travel preparations.

With registration now underway, eligible citizens and residents are encouraged to apply early and monitor official updates. For many, Hajj 2026 represents a long-awaited opportunity to embark on a deeply meaningful spiritual journey.
